Sophomore Year Goals:

Goal 1: Foster a relationship between mentors and mentees and a sense of community within each Team
Goal 2: Build a college-going identity through participating in the Summer Programs application process & college toolkit workshops
Goal 3: Work to develop MMB key skill sets
Goal 4: Understand the basic definition of college fit and how to define a "best fit" college
Goal 5 (ACT): a. Build familiarity with grammatical topics & essay types b. Identify areas for growth based on performance on practice exams
Goal 6 (Writing): a. Build student interest & engagement with the writing process b. Students understand writing can be a tool for social change and a vehicle to share their voice

Boston University Locations:

CAS: College of Arts & Sciences: 725 Commonwealth Ave, Boston, MA 02215
- Note on accessibility: Most entrances of CAS are not accessible. There is an accessible entrance located behind the building in the parking lot at 240 Bay State Road. You can enter through the Tsai Performance Center Guest Entrance.
Boston University Law Auditorium: 767 Commonwealth Ave, Boston, MA, 02215
- Note on accessibility: The Law Auditorium is located behind the Boston University School of Law. There is a ramp located to the right of the School of Law that can be used to get to the Law Auditorium.

Parking at BU:
- Metered parking available on Bay State Road and further up Comm Ave. right before the BU bridge (up to 4 hours).
- For metered parking that only goes up to 2 hours, you can always repay through the parking app from another location (i.e during mentor block!)
- If you ever need to leave the session to pay a meter (hopefully it's close!), you should always feel free to do so.
